Greg, our fearless web leader ran from, but could not hide from the Lunch Bus. His Birthday was yesterday and we missed it, so we'll celebrate today. Since he did not have a preference we will try something new, Cool Water Cafe. It is where the Western Sizlin' was on Lake Harbor.
I have no idea what to expect other than "cafe" type stuff maybe a deli-ish place. Either way, Load up!

interested to hear the results! i ate there recently and liked it. the fries were amazing. sandwich was okay- but hate to judge from a single instance.

I would like to report that we have added another restaurant to the Lunch Bus tour list. (Note to Self, add a page on Blog for gathering Lunch Bus places to be used for random dart throw selection later). Cool Water cafe was received well by all those that went and we had a full table of 7.
ReplyDeleteThe Salad Bar is probably the best around. Comparable to Jason's Deli's Salad bar, but bigger. The Gumbo Yaya (Chicken and Sausage) is what I would call "Highly Tolerable" so about a 4/5 stars. A very good surprise. Other menu items varied from burgers and grilled chicken to Grilled Salmon, all of which looked good.
And yes Andrew the Ice Cream is complimentary similar to Jason's Deli except that it does not come out like mush like at Jason's.
